Details
Two public meetings will be held for the C2-C4 Line study. The dates, times, and locations are:
Wednesday, April 17, 2013
5:30 pm to 7:00 pm
Mid-County Services Center
2424 Reedie Drive, Wheaton
The facility is directly next to the bus bay at Wheaton Metro Station, served by both Routes C2 and C4.
Thursday, April 18, 2013
5:30 pm to 7:00 pm
First United Methodist Church
6201 Belcrest Road, Hyattsville
The facility is 0.2 miles from Prince George’s Plaza Metro Station, served by Route C4.
The purpose of these public meetings is to hear feedback from riders of the Metrobus C2-C4 routes about a set of preliminary recommendations for improvements to bus service along the line. The meeting is open to all, and no advance registration is required.
Upon arriving at the public meeting, participants can review information about the study and speak individually with the project team. The meeting will be “open house” style, meaning that participants may arrive at any time between 5:30 pm and 7:00 pm. No presentation will be given; instead, the meeting is designed to get input from riders about possible solutions to problems.
After the meetings are complete, the study team will refine the improvement options and submit its final recommendations to the Metro Board for approval in summer 2013.
