In business since 2004, this cozy Guatemalan-style bakery features freshly baked rolls, pastries, cakes and cookies, along with hot coffee.  The owner experimented with over 75 flours to ensure that La Chapina would offer the authentic flavors and aromas of home.   Expect to see the who's who of the Guatemalan community on any given night stop by for short pans frances (french bread rolls), banana or pinapple creme wrapped in puff pastry or baked-to-order layer cakes.  The bakery is located in La Union Mall (between University and the eastern edge of Holton Lane).
