A Takoma Park-appointed management authority formed under state legislation to promote the Takoma/ Langley commercial area.  Every business in the Takoma Park portion of Langley Park is within the Crossroads Development Authority's purview, and pays an annual fee based on its square footage.  Takoma Park collects the fees and gives them to the CDA to pay for improvements and maintenance.   Executive Director Melanie Isis serves on the Joint (Montgomery & Prince George's) County Gang Prevention Task Force.
