Plant a Tree
Each year the City of Takoma Park partners with private property owners to plant 2" dbh trees throughout the City. This program replaces the tree canopy throughout the City which is rapidly being depleted as older trees die. Orders are usually accepted through early October and planting, depending upon the species, begins in November. Costs include tree and installation. This program is for Takoma Park residential and business properties.
