Details

The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) is constructing a new local and regional bus transit center at the Takoma Langley Crossroads, located on the northeast corner of New Hampshire Avenue (MD 650) and University Boulevard (MD 193). The transit center includes eight bus bays, bus customer information, an outdoor covered customer waiting area, an indoor service building with customer and bus operator restrooms, and pedestrian improvements around the site.

Once construction is complete, Metro is planning to take over operations of the NEW Takoma-Langley Crossroads Transit Center from Maryland Transit Administration (MTA).

The new transit center will accommodate 11 bus routes that provide transit service to 12,000 passengers daily. In order for Metro to operate and maintain this facility, Metro needs your input.

Several bus stops in the surrounding area will be relocated to the Takoma Langley Crossroads Transit Center. See the map below to see if your bus stop will be affected. We encourage you to provide feedback if you have an issue with your bus stop being relocated or removed.
