The Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce offers county-wide educational, marketing and networking opportunities; research, information, programs and events; and other services to help members grow their businesses, connect to new opportunities, and engage more fully in the community. The Chamber helps local business leaders improve the business climate and quality of life through effective legislative, public policy and political action. Prince George's Chamber of CommerceThe Prince George's Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit alliance of over 900 businesses representing over 250,000 employees. The Chamber advances the interest of business and fosters a sound and progressive business climate for the County. It assumes a leadership position in identifying and resolving community issues and concerns. Prince George's Black Chamber of CommerceThe Prince George’s Black Chamber of Commerce Inc., is a business association representing Black and minority-owned businesses that was incorporated in 2001. The PGBCC is an advocate and educator, as well as a nonprofit, nonpartisan, nonsectarian organization dedicated to the empowerment of African-American communities. Maryland Hispanic Chamber of CommerceThe MD Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is a cohesive business network to bring the issues and concerns of thousands of Hispanic-owned businesses to the forefront of the state's economic agenda. Takoma/ Langley Crossroads Development AuthorityThe Takoma/Langley Crossroads Development Authority (CDA) is a commercial district manager authorized by the City of Takoma Park to represent 154 businesses in the Takoma Park portion of the Takoma/Langley Crossroads area. The organization has successfully advocated for crime prevention programming, pedestrian safety improvements, code enforcement and streetscape improvements. Meets annually, with board meetings bi-monthly. Maryland's International Corridor Community Development CorporationThe Maryland's International Corridor Community Development Corporation (MICCDC) is formed by small, independently-owned as well as corporate retail, service and professional businesses. MICCDC aims to strengthen the commercial corridor and revitalize the neighborhoods of the Langley Park area. Greater Washington Board of TradeThe Greater Washington Board of Trade addresses business concerns that stretch across the District of Columbia, Suburban Maryland and Northern Virginia. The Board provides advocacy, conducts economic research, and supports members through professional development, educational, and networking programs for the area’s business community. |
